RIP Brucie!
He worked incredibly hard at his persona. His little grimaces and mutterings aside to camera were often as funny as the contestants themselves on TGG. He managed to laugh at / with them, without it ever seeming like taking the piss - you always felt that he genuinely cared about people, however farcical their efforts. Lots of laugh out loud stuff, a favourite of mine was Doris Norris the Morris Dancer on TGG, classic Brucie ratcheting the mirth.
Love or loathe him, losing Bruce is another milestone for most of us old(er) gits on here; a timely reminder that the horizon beckons for all of us.
Nicholas Parsons, 93 and no sword on his shoulder? Didn't know that. Seems unfair, especially with Barclays like fucking Geldof getting knighted for little more than scratching his balls without instruction...

Not really my cup of tea but he certainly deserved the knighthood which was awarded to him by public demand. It's about time that the same honour was bestowed on Nicholas Parsons, who has a similar decades-long career in popular entertainment, and at 93 is still sharper than many half his age.

So AOI is slating anyone that speaks ill of Bruce, then mentions how his dad hated him.
Superb.

I think AOI's Dad was right not to like BF.
For me, BF stank of false sincerity.
Doesn't make him a nonce, though.

Do the shitcunts on here have to have a k in their username, with Kavinge joining in with the other two putrid pricks.
RIP Brucie. You weren't to everyone's taste, my Dad hated you, but I thought you were great at fronting light entertainment shows and gave me lots of laughs.

Why do utter shitcunts like you (and Kronic) have to come on here and speak ill of the dead. Particularly an entertainer who's done nothing but try and give pleasure to millions.

Desperately wanted to be Sammy Davis Jnr which was more than Davis did for a fair portion of his life. A great quiz show host when dealing with the public but a song and dance man in an era when they were totally redundant
